House McMahons Point SYDNEY

Residential alterations and additions

The typical Federation semi-detached house placed the bedrooms at the front of the house and the service rooms at the rear. The living rooms are buried in the middle, with no connection to the rear yard.
This project, in common with many suburban renovations, provides for a room out the back to address the garden, now an outdoor room.
The pergola provides a transition between inside and out, as well as shielding views from the neighbours beyond. The new galley kitchen provides a transition between the old and the new.
